A while ago Sarah and myself saw a call for envelopes in Scrapbook Creations ages ago and thought it would be an interesting twist on creating a layout. Don't get me wrong, I am certainly not a 'scrap for a call' type of girl. I just thought this would kind of be fun. Fun it was once we finally got our envelopes! And look at those old school picture hangers. I love using old crap! :D
And it turns out that our hubby's lived in the same street and used to be friends. Small world, huh?
So, this last week has been very similar to all the ones previous to it. My life never changes much. For that I am thankful. Although, I did go and see Luke perform at his assembly. They did a dance to a funky Humpty Dumpty song. Pretty cool, I must say.I have also been scrapping. Twice this week, and both times I walked away with a layout done, which for me is great as I am a bit slow when it comes to scrapping. This here one is for the Apple Blossom Studio dt. I just adore their stamps and I love using them. I even managed to squeeze three onto this layout. Ah my little girl, where does the time go?
The next layout was one that I had been thinking about for a couple of weeks now. My friend Sarah and I thought that aqua and red would be a great colour combo. Yep. The colours worked so well together and I love the layout I created and I finally scrapped some of those slip and slide photos!
Ohhh out for publication! Yippee! :)
Finally some scrapping I can share. Here is my layout for this month's Aussie ScrapJack. It's a bit simple, a bit straight, but I really wanted to get the story down. Anyways, make sure you check out the new Jacks!
Proof that even when I try to bribe her with chocolate, she still wont sit still for me.Any tips for photographing a almost 3 year old?
Well, it's my last night before I go back to work tomorrow. 4 weeks have gone very fast. In that time I have done very little of what I wanted to get done craft wise. That's ok though as I have just enjoyed relaxing and well, doing sweet f.a. to be honest. Back to reality I guess. And, nup, still no scrapping I can share. I am almost finished my Master's entry. So far I have completed my single and double layouts and I am still working on my BTP. I think I might repaint it as I don't like the teal colour I painted it, I am thinking brown. Brown really does go with everything. Before I go, I have a photo of Steve. Go karting. You know, I was very apprehensive about him starting in this sport, but I will admit, when he was out on the track I wasn't as fearful as I thought I was going to be. That's a good thing, right?
It's not a great photo, but he was going much faster than I thought he would, so I have a lot of shots of him either zooming in to or out of the frame. Maybe next time I will get a better photo?
