I made this card for two things - firstly for a card swap I am in and secondly for one of the cybercrop challenges happening over at The Scrapbook Establishment.
Now, I must note that I am not very good at making cards. This was no exception. It took me two goes at sitting down to try to put this together. And still I had to use a sketch! I have come to the conclusion that I would rather buy a card and save the handmade creativeness stuff just for layouts.
I scrapped again. I don't know what's gotten into me?
This layout is for the cybercrop happening at The Scrapbook Establishment at the moment. Pop on over to check it out if you have a spare minute.
The challenge I set was quite easy really.
1. Use a number or numbers as a design feature 2. Roll your paper - I originally rolled the green PP edges, but changed my mind and rolled up a PP candle. 3. Use a stamp.
I took 16 photos of Amy yesterday and guess how many she is frowning in?
13.
*sigh*
On a random note, a little girl in year one walked up to Amy in her pram yesterday while we were waiting for the kids to come out and pinched her on the forehead. She dug her nails in and now Amy has a sore on her head. Apparently her parents will be notified. All I can say is, who does that?!
Literary Week come dressed as your favourite book character day:
Kate as Alice in Wonderland and Luke as a bear out of his favourite book 'I can... can you?'
Making the costumes drove me crazy, but I got there in the end and I must say, besides the fact that Kate is soooo skinny so her dress was too big, I think they look pretty good. :D
Luke is Army crazy. He loves the idea of the Army and will no doubt end up there. In the mean time, he can content himself with a remote controlled tank.
Amy is not well. She is recovering from a bout of a vomiting virus. She is keeping fluid down today at least. Poor bubba. I don't think I have ever seen her sit so still.
I have all but finished the costumes for tomorrow's Literacy Week Book Parade. Can't wait to get some photos of the kids! :)
April is TSE's birthday month so I just wanted to share with you some special birthday celebrations that are being held this month, including a massive competition that is running till May 2nd - with some awesome prizes up for grabs! It is not too late to join in the fun - no scrapping is involved, just some fun forum participation :)
We are sharing the celebrations with you. We are running a competition where you can earn points.
The competition is open to all Australian members of The Scrapbook Establishment (with the exception of our Design Team members).
The winner will be the person who has accumulated the most points at the close of the competition. The competition will begin on Saturday 28th March and conclude on Saturday 2nd May.
The winner will be announced on Sunday 3rd May at the close of our April Cybercrop.

We also have a Blind mini-Cybercrop running from 2nd to 6th April and from 23rd April to 3rd May we will be holding our main Cybercrop. Participation in the games involved with these cybercrops will also earn you points for the competition.
So what are you waiting for? Come and join in the fun over at TSE! See you there!
(PS. The photo is actually Kate when she was just about to blow out her candles on her birthday!)
